What is the egzamin ósmoklasisty?
The exam at the end of the 8th grade of Polish primary school. Every 8th-grader takes it: Polish, mathematics and a modern foreign language. The results decide admission to secondary schools.
The Polish part checks reading comprehension, knowledge of the set books (lektury) and extended writing — conversational Polish alone is not enough.
How lessons work
Diagnosis. We find the gaps: vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing.
A school-based plan. We follow what the class is doing now.
Exam tasks. Practice in the egzamin ósmoklasisty format.

From what age?
Pani Katarzyna teaches children aged 8 and up. For younger children we’ll find an option after talking to you.
Are there groups for kids?
Lessons for pupils are currently one-to-one, so we can follow the class curriculum exactly.
When should exam preparation start?
The earlier, the calmer — ideally from the start of grade 7 or 8.
