Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

A group costs 439 zł per month — one price for every level from A1 to C1. Your first group lesson is free: come, see how it works, and if you like it — stay; the course is paid monthly, starting only after the first lesson. Private lessons are always paid — 99 zł for 50 minutes.

Can I try first?

Yes, in a group: the first lesson is free, and you pay monthly, only after it. You can check your level beforehand with the online test — it takes 10–15 minutes.

How do the lessons work?

Online, in a mini-group or one-to-one with a teacher. We study on our interactive platform, app.polonijne.pl, with lessons, exercises, a dictionary, games and AI practice. You can look around the platform for free. See the platform →

Can I switch teachers?

Yes. You choose your teacher in the catalogue — and you can switch if it doesn’t click.

Do I need Polish for a residence permit?

There is no language requirement for temporary or permanent residence. A B1 certificate is required for EU long-term resident status and for citizenship.

Do you prepare kids for egzamin ósmoklasisty?

Yes — private lessons with a Polish philologist: school curriculum, writing, reading and exam practice.

How long does it take to reach B1?

In a group from zero: A1 — 28 lessons, ≈ 3 months; A2 — 28 lessons, ≈ 3 months; B1 — 64 lessons, ≈ 7.5 months. With private lessons it depends on your pace and the number of lessons a week — we estimate it at the level test. Polish for beginners — the A1 course →

How many people are in a group?

Always mini-groups: we take up to 6, and usually 4–5 attend — so everyone gets to speak in every lesson.

Can I pay by card from Belarus, Ukraine or Georgia?

Yes. 99% of our students pay by card without any trouble, including cards from banks in Belarus, Ukraine and Georgia: payments go through Stripe, an international payment system. If sanctions block your card, message us and we’ll find a solution.

Do you issue a VAT invoice?

Yes, faktura VAT for individuals and companies, on request.
